In Genshin Impact, when players obtain duplicate copies of a character they already have, they can use them to unlock Constellations. These upgrades provide additional effects that enhance the character's skills. For instance, Arlecchino, a recent 5-star character, gains increased damage and skill level bonuses through his Constellations.

Genshin Impact Version 4.8 5-star Waiting List

A new chart for Genshin Impact, shared by RapidFresh on Reddit, highlights the 5-star characters who have gone the longest without appearing in their own reruns. Shenhe was last featured on a banner 12 updates ago, while Ganyu's last rerun was in version 3.6 last year. Since their last appearances, HoYoverse has launched two new gacha games: Honkai: Star Rail and Zenless Zone Zero. The chart also shows that Kokomi from Genshin Impact has been absent for nine consecutive updates. It's worth noting that these 5-star characters are unlikely to return in version 4.8.

As seen in the chart, Genshin Impact's Tartaglia and Zhongli have been absent from banners for several months. Wriothesley and Hu Tao, meanwhile, have not had a rerun in seven updates. Early leaks suggest that some of these characters will return on rerun banners in version 5.0, expected to launch in late August.

5-star Genshin Impact characters such as Kamisato Ayato, Venti, Eula, Raiden Shogun, Kamisato Ayaka, and Yoimiya have not had a rerun in several months. Unfortunately, it is unlikely that they will appear in the next two updates.

Some fans have expressed that Shenhe and Ganyu deserve a rerun since they have been absent for several months. Others mentioned that the Chronicled Wish banner was intended to address this rerun issue but did not succeed. Interestingly, newcomers who started playing Genshin Impact last year have not had the opportunity to obtain certain top-tier characters yet.

Regarding reruns, Genshin Impact's version 4.8 will feature Nilou, Navia, and Yelan on their banner reruns. The latest 5-star character, Emilie, will debut as a playable character in the second phase of version 4.8. The update is scheduled to be released on July 17th.\
