After enjoying what it described as “an unusually successful Kickstarter" campaign back in 2018, veteran RPG developer Spiderweb Software announced last April that the object of said campaign – a brand new RPG titled Queen’s Wish: The Conqueror – would hit the PC platform in the third quarter of this year and then to iOS a little bit after. Check out its trailer below:
In this game, you’ll be playing as the offspring of a Queen. Of course, that means you had a pretty comfortable upbringing, until one day your mother comes to the conclusion that you’ve matured and kicks you out into the war-ravaged countryside where you must find ways to survive on your own. From her perspective, only by surviving and conquering these lands can you prove yourself worthy of being a member of the royal family.
But here’s where she didn’t think things through: If you do manage to achieve what she wanted you to and gather an army for yourself, what’s stopping you from conquering her own kingdom as well? You will be the one to answer that question. True to Spiderweb’s tradition, you’ll have a lot of power in deciding which path the story will head toward in Queen’s Wish: The Conqueror.
And just like what the studio promised, the game did hit Steam in September, and now we also have a release date for the iOS version as well: December 4th – which means it’s just about 3 weeks away. The good news doesn’t end there either: You’ll be able to enjoy this one not only on your iPad, but also on your iPhone as well. Previous Spiderweb games have always been iPad exclusives as their UIs were too complex that they’d take a lot of effort to fit on the smaller screen of an iPhone. Now, though, it seems Queen’s Wish’s successful Kickstarter campaign has finally given the studio the resource it needs to make an iPhone version.
So, mark the date December 4th on your calendar, as that’s when you’ll be able to get Queen’s Wish: The Conqueror from the App Store.
