Xinyan is a 4 star Pyro Claymore character in Genshin Impact. Released in the earliest versions of the game, she is considered one of the weakest characters in the game (C-tier), with a lackluster skill set and low DPS.

1. High-End Xinyan Team Comps

When build as a main DPS, Xinyan mostly deals Physical DMG. Therefore, having a combination of a Cryo and Electro Sub-DPS character in the party is a must. Their Superconduct triggers will lower enemies' Physical DMG Resistance and allow Xinyan to hit harder.

As Xinyan is a Pyro character, it is rather easy to bolster her damage by adding another Pyro character to the party. This would unlock Elemental Resonance and increase her ATK by 25%.

Xinyan + Eula Physical Team

Eula is the main DPS of this team, dealing Physical damage with her fantastic burst. She can also trigger Melt with Xinyan when needed.

Beidou is the main superconduct enabler. Alongside Eula, she can reduce enemies' Physical resistance for Eula's burst to deal more damage. Xinyan's burst can also make use of this, as it deals Physical damage and always crit at C2.

Diona provides heal and Cryo application. Bennett also provides heal with his burst, alongside damage boost and Pyro Resonance. Having a Xinyan with a high constellation level is a must if you want to use her in the DPS role, as C0 Xinyan is severely underpowered.

Bennett C6 also benefits Xinyan, as her kit already infuses her attacks with Pyro.

2. Mid-Tier Xinyan Team Comps

Xinyan Overload Team

This team focuses on Xinyan triggering Overload with her kit alongside Fischl's Electro application. Furthermore, Xinyan can also bolster Overload with her own Physical damage.

Bennett is the main support of the team, who provides healing and attack boost with his burst. He also increases Xinyan's attack damage with Pyro resonance. Sucrose is the crowd control and enabler of the team, grouping enemies up and swirling Pyro to reduce their resistance. Her ability also boosts Overload damage exponentially.

This lineup is designed for complete f2p and new players who want to build around Xinyan being the main DPS.

Xinyan the main DPS in this team comp, with Superconduct unlocked by Lisa and Kaeya. Barbara is the main healer of the team, which can be replaced by Amber for Pyro resonance if needed.

Kaeya spread Cryo with the help of Barbara, triggering Freeze. This delays the enemy and allows Xinyan to trigger Melt.
