Via his performance as Black Panther - T’Challa, Chadwick Boseman has become one of the indispensable parts of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Back in the past, when he just started his career, the American actor dreamed of becoming a screenwriter and director, but the dreamland - New York City - took him to the colorful acting world.
Sadly, Boseman died of cancer on August 29, and fans across the world have now mourned over him. Thinking of Chadwick Boseman, many are willing to send a rain of praise to the young warrior with his passionate eyes whenever he appears on wide screens.
Back in 2008, Chadwick Boseman started his acting career via the role of Floyd Little - a football halfback in The Express: The Ernie Davis Story. Although the sports movie didn’t gain an impressive box-office gross, it managed to win the hearts of the critics. It was considered an attractive movie even for those who don’t know football well. At that time, Boseman just played a little role but he still made a powerful impression due to his skillful performance and youthful vitality.
After The Express: The Ernie Davis Story, Chadwick Boseman continued to make an appearance in a series of movie projects based on true stories. In the movie 42, he played the lead role Jackie Robinson - a famous pro baseman who was known as the first African American to participate in Major League Baseball.
This time, he kept gaining positive reviews from the critics. According to Hollywood Reporter, Chadwick Boseman performed the role of Robinson persuasively and emotionally although Robinson in real life seldom expressed his attitudes to others.
The young actor once again received huge support when proving his acting talent in the 2014 biographical musical drama movie Get On Up. In this movie, Chadwick Boseman portraited singer James Brown and continued to rock the cinematic world. Rotten Tomatoes commented that Boseman had an unforgettable performance and Get On Up became a meaningful tribute movie for the King of Soul music.
Although he managed to assert his great acting talent, Chadwick Boseman didn’t have an intention to keep framing himself as the world-class celebrities. In 2016, he suddenly became a part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe via his performance as Black Panther in the movie Captain America: Civil War. At that time, his character was still the prince T’Challa of Wakanda who directly saw his father assassinated. He decided to join the Civil War to take revenge for his father.
Two years later, the audience was strongly impressed by the standalone movie Black Panther revolving around the most prosperous nation of Wakanda. The battle between T’Challa and Killmonger (Michael B. Jordan) for the crown was performed impressively. Until now, Black Panther has been recognized as the Marvel’s movie with the most awards when it is the first superhero movie to receive the Best Picture Oscar nomination.
The brave warrior continued to make his mark upon the world via two blockbusters including Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame. In these movies, Chadwick Boseman succeeded in setting up an image of prominent T’Challa who spreads an outpouring of love to his family and nation, and to Avengers family.
