The PC version of PUBG has been trying to stem its decline by holding events upon events. If you have been following the game over the past few weeks, you should have noticed that people were trying to perform some special moves on social media. Real-life prizes and in-game cosmetics were awarded during the previous month for winners, as part of “The PUBG Awards for 2019”. The best awards, the golden PUBG helmet trophy, however, are only given out to selected winners.
The top three winners would get various awards, including an in-game exclusive T-shirt, a real-life T-shirt, and a trophy. Nothing about it except for a silhouette has been revealed, however. Only one would be given out for each region.
With all four event parts concluded, it is time for the fans to select the winners on PUBG’s official Twitter post. The highlights videos of the winners can also be found on the official Twitter as well.
In other news, the test process for Skill-Based Rating has just ended. It began with PUBG Labs’ debut on Nov 26, with players getting ranked based on their performances in-game. It’s like the ranking systems of other multiplayer games with tiers and divisions, however, your game stats also affect the point gains.
The second round of this event would be held soon after the developers have gathered all the feedback from players. PC players would get a survey to fill in from now until January 9.
