Is it Wrong To Try To Pick Up Girls In A Dungeon? Infinite Combate takes the settings of fantasy land, where the ancient gods and goddesses such as Hermes, Apolo or Loki have limited their own power to be able to join the vivid life of the mundane. They are tired of the long boring lives of deity, so they want to find another source of excitement in the world below.
And in order to immerse in the hardship of humans, each of the deity created a Familia after their name. Adventurers all over the realms can now join the Familia with the god/goddess they worship, and together socialize and fight in the Dungeon - a deep and dangerous labyrinth - for the sake of money, reputation and resources.
The main protagonist in this story - Bell Cranel - is a cute white-haired orphan that was raised by Goddess Hestia - the youthful loli with big boobs. Their Familia only starts with those two members, but through fighting in the Dungeon, Bell will unlock his potentials and become more powerful. His braveness and kind hearts will help him catch a lot of girls on his journey as well!
What will he encounter on his journey? Which girls (and goddesses) will our Little Rookie pick up under the dungeon? You'll find out through this game!
Gameplay features
From the name of this game, you can already guess what will be packed in its gameplay. In detail, Is it Wrong To Try To Pick Up Girls In A Dungeon? Infinite Combate is the mixture of a dungeon crawler, an RPG and a visual-novel game, which let you immerse in the Familia-filled world of DanMachi.
To be more specific, the trailer shows us the action of the main protagonist - Bell Cranel and his crush from Loki Familia - Ais Wallenstein. Most of the time, you'll control either of them fighting hordes of monsters in the dungeon. Each of them has different stats, which you can enhance by leveling up and equipping them with weapons and armors - just like how the anime works.
And apart from the normal attack and the jump dodges, the developer Mages also brings the only titular skill that Bell has - Fire Bolt to the game. Its combats are more Souls-like than ordinary hack-n-slash games, where you'll have to time your attack and defense perfectly instead of smashing your buttons to win.
The Story Mode will lead you through the story of the franchise, and the Extra Dungeons mode will let you enjoy more RPG actions with ever-changing dungeons. All in all, this game is definitely a must-try if you're into the world of DanMachi!
Release date and supported platforms
Is It Wrong To Try To Pick Up Girls In A Dungeon? Infinite Combate will come out on an unknown date in 2020. At its launch, the game will support PC, PS4 and Nintendo Switch.
