Back in early 2019, nWay teased about a special version of Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid on PC through an announcement in January. For 7 months, the developer hasn’t revealed any further information on the release. However, that changed yesterday as an official release date is now available: Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid is coming to PC via Steam this September 24th 2019.
Six months after its consoles release, the game is finally here and let’s take a look at the trailer for PC port as below:
Game versions & Pre-order perks
Although the release window is a little behind schedule, the title still looks extremely promising for many. At the moment, the base game costs $19.99 while the Collector’s Edition costs $39.99. The latter includes the first season’s Pass as well as Kimberly Hart & Lord Drakkon exclusive skins. In fact, you can still buy the Season Pass for $14.99 on its own without purchasing the Collector Edition. And for those who pre-ordered the game, a Tommy Oliver’s Green Ranger V2 skin is waiting for you to redeem!
Cross-play, cross-progression system
As a matter of fact, the brand-new Power Rangers title enables cross-platform play options and progressions, which could totally attract players from other platforms. With that being said, feel free to challenge your Switch and Xbox One partners and play together via different platforms. Unfortunately, PS4 port is currently unavailable at the moment.
In summary
All in all, Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid doesn’t have the best release ever in history with that launch delay. Although it might disappoint some people, the game is still salvageable as long as the gameplay stands out. Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid for PC will head to PC via Steam on September 24th. It will also come to Google Stadia some time later.
