Indian gamers are excited about the prequel of Project IGI back from 2000. The 90s generation who enjoyed playing Project IGI will be able to play its prequel called IGI: Origins and is set for release in 2021. The prequel has been developed by Antimatter Games and is being published by Toadman Interactive. Steam has already listed Project IGI with a detailed description. A teaser of the game was released by publishers on their social media and it shows the protagonist is shown somewhere in Gdansk, Poland in the year 1980.
The game has already been listed on Steam and it’s description reads, "The prequel to 2000’s Project I.G.I.: Experience a high octane thrill ride through a spy fantasy world of gadgets and guns against the vivid, sumptuous backdrop of the 1980s. Unravel a mystery that threatens to plunge the world into a new era of nuclear annihilation. You’re going in."
Steam is yet to update the game specifications required for Project IGI. It would be a single-player game and reports suggest that the game will be released in 2021.
An avid gamer and streamer, said, "We have liked Project IGI and have been its ardent fans. Though its a single-player game. We like the way story mode builds up. It's thrilling and at the same time very interesting. We are excited about its announcement."
