Just recently Lemonbomb Entertainment announced their new game - Stranded Sails. It is a tropical ( plus piratical!) open-world single play farming game. It will come to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch and PC this October.
Clearly, this game has taken its inspiration from titles such as Zelda and Harvest Moon. The whole "suffix" of this game is Explorers of the Cursed Islands - quite long right?
In this game, players take on the role of a pirate crew member - particular the daughter and son of the captain of the ship. But you found yourself in a shipwrecked and cast away on a mysterious, tropical, beautiful archipelago.
Build a ship and escape
The final goal of this game is to create a ship with the capability of bringing everyone back "home". But to achieve that you would need to explore the beautiful island, gathering various resources to build up camp, grow many types of crops, cook, and taking care of the crew. Happy crew members will help you maintain the farm while you go out exploring the secrets of the archipelago.
Exploring
Using the trusty old rowboat, you will have access to the surrounding islands of the archipelago as the game goes on. In that exploration, you also could get new treasures, tools, and resources. It is not just wandering around without any objectives though. More supernatural dangers and story quests will come up as you explore the mysterious surroundings too.
This October
Lemonbomb Entertainment will release a digital version of Stranded Sails on Switch, PS4, Xbox One, and PC this October. A Signature Physical Edition of the game for Switch and PS4 will also be there on the launch day.
