The loot in the chests includes several useful items for exploring the ancient city, such as snowballs and the Swift Sneak enchantment, as well as items that can't be found anywhere else, such as echo shards.

2. Dungeons

Dungeons are the best place to loot in Minecraft. They are easier than Nether Fortress, with a better list of drops. Players can find Dungeons inside caves and ravines - they are relatively small rooms that contain a decent amount of loot.

4. End cities

End cities are castle-like structures found on the outer islands of the End. They are inhabited by shulkers and hold loot among the most valuable in the game. In these structures, players can also discover emeralds. There is a 9% chance for them to drop two to six pieces.

However, by the time players reach End Cities, they probably already have enough emerald to spend.

5. Shipwrecks

Shipwrecks are special structures resembling sailing ships that spread around the Overworld’s aquatic landscapes. All shipwrecks have treasure chests inside them. Players can find shipwrecks in different variants - from intact to damaged or even broken in half.

Strongholds are one of the hardest-to-find structures in the game, and because of that, you can find a lot of rare items here. In a Stronghold, players can find good loot like enchanted books, horse armor, food, diamonds, ingots, and more. It also has a portal that lets players access the End.

To locate a stronghold, players need to throw an ender eye around and look for the spot where it hovers. Dig down on that spot and you will find a stronghold. To beat the stronghold in Minecraft and loot everything, you should prepare full-stack of food, torches, shield, armor, sword and some potions for regeneration.

8. Desert pyramids

A Desert pyramid (also known as a Desert temple) is a naturally generated structure found in Desert Biomes. Desert pyramids are primarily built out of the three types of sandstone, with a hidden basement with four loot chests. Overall, Desert pyramids are the fastest structures in Minecraft to find Emeralds.

However, in order to get your hand on those chests, you need to break the pressure plate trap first, as it connects to multiple TNT blocks underneath.

Desert pyramid chests have an 18% chance to drop 1 - 3 emeralds. Furthermore, players can also get diamonds, golden apples, and enchanted golden apples.

9. Ocean monuments

Ocean monuments are massive prismarine temples that spawn in deep ocean-type biomes. They are inhabited by guardians, as well as three elder guardians in fixed positions. Wet sponges, along with eight blocks of gold as treasure, also generate naturally here.
