Just like any other FPS title, CS:GO relies heavily on accuracy to land shots. Obviously, in an FPS game, hitting shots means everything. If you enter a bombsite without killing any CTs, they will make short work of your whole team. Conversely, if you manage to kill off most enemy, the objective is much more easy to accomplish.
Then, how can you hit the enemy in the most effective way? Astralis has the answer just about that – aim for the chest. However, what is even more important is setting up your mouse. With the right settings, you can feel most comfortable and navigate your crosshair quickly and open fire right on the spot.
Are you curious how do pro players set their mouses? Here is the answer of the top 5 teams at the moment:
#1 Team Liquid = 740.8 eDPI
1 - EliGe = 1600 DPI x 0.74 sens = 1184eDPI
2 - Stewie2k = 400 DPI x 1.7 sens = 680eDPI
3 - Twistzz = 400 DPI x 1.4 sens = 560eDPI
4 - NAF = 800 DPI x 0.6 sens = 480eDPI
5 - nitr0 = 400 DPI x 2 sens = 800eDPI
#2 Astralis = 792 eDPI
1 – Xyp9x = 400 DPI x 2 sens = 800eDPI

What is mouse DPI and eDPI
Please note that Dots per inch (DPI) is the number of pixels in one inch (2.54 cm). Mouse DPI is the number of times your mouse notifies the computer of its position per inch moved. For example, if you have 300 CPI, your mouse would tell the computer it moved 300 times for every inch it traveled. The DPI here is the DPI settings in-game where you can adjust to your liking in CS:GO settings.
Sens is mouse sensitivity. It is determined in the window settings. eDPI is effective DPI. Basically, both in-game sensitivity and window settings affect the eDPI of your game. with that, the eDPI is the real determinant of how sensitive your mouse is. The higher eDPI is, the quicker your crosshair adjusts with your moves.
As you can see, the average eDPI of pro players often ranges from 750 to 800. NRG is the exception with a high eDPI of 936 thanks to the unusual settings of Vincent 'Brehze' Cayonte. Jonathan 'EliGE' Jablonowski, the top performer in Team Liquid also has unusually high sensitivity settings. However, the sensitivity pro players use are not much different from others.
All in all, just like pro CS:GO players, we should pick out the most comfortable mouse settings to go for while playing this exciting FPS title.
