Klee is a Pyro Catalyst character in Genshin Impact. She is a good DPS character and is one of the few effective DPS catalyst users in the game. Being one of the earliest characters released, Klee's kit is rather underwhelming, however, she is still a good unit worth pulling for. In this article, Gurugamer is going to showcase the 5 reasons to pull for Klee in Genshin Impact 2.8.
1. Great AoE capability
Pretty much all of Klee's abilities, from attacks to skill and burst, deal AoE damage. Players would have no problem dealing with a large number of mobs consistently, making clearing them out quicker. Small mines created from her skill can be grouped up by Anemo characters like Kazuha or Sucrose, dealing further stacking damage to opponents.
Her AoE capability also makes triggering reactions and generating energy easier.
2. Function well at C0
Being Pyro, Klee is a reliable DPS for all lineups, even if players barely invest anything in her. Just put her alongside pyro supports such as Bennett to unlock the Fervent Flames resonance for free extra damage. For her team comp, players can just build any type of Vaporize/Melt team for Klee to be effective. She can also deal a ton of damage with Overloaded as well.
However, if you decide to invest in her constellation, it is still ok, as Klee's best constellations are C1 and C2. C1 outright boosts her damage while C2 gives her a DEF shred ability, which allows Klee to support in certain team comps.
3. Can spam powerful normal and charged attacks
Outside of her abilities, players can build Klee around spamming normal and charged attacks. She has a really good Charged Attack scaling, and her talent Pounding Surprise can be far more useful than it seems at first. To get the maximum DPS from Klee, players need to learn how to cancel animations. Her Normal Attack chain and Charged Attack have long animations leaving you open to enemy attacks. Just jump and dash a short distance to cancel the animation after firing.
Overall, Klee breaks every shield in the game (other than pyro ones) with her NA and CA at extremely high speed. Additionally, she is the only character that so far can make Mitachurls and similar enemies stay constantly stunned and even blow them up so much they won't touch the ground until they are dead. Her kit has extremely high poise damage.
4. Surprisingly high scaling
Her Jumpy Dumpty deals average DMG, but only if you don't count her mines, total DMG at talent level 8 is about 875% (Diluc 3 hits of his Searing Onslaught deals about 513%), which is quite a lot, especially if you have her at C2.
5. Future Dendro reaction
Burning is a new reaction that no one mentions when talking about Dendro (Sumeru 3.0), which can be a game-changer for her. Maybe the devs won't make it a good reaction, but I am willing to believe that this one would make the pyro spamming characters work far better than what they do now.
