Genshin Impact 2.8 Full Patch

New and rerun content in Update 2.8 is also revealed and confirmed in the Special Program. Here are the main upcoming features in the next version released on July 13th, 2022.

• Heizou & Rerun Characters

Shikanoin Heizou is the new 4-star character who appeared in the first scene of the teaser. The gameplay of this Anemo character is also revealed in the program. Heizou is a detective whose ambition is to become renowned all around Inazuma.

He wants to be reputable enough to make anyone fear being caught and think twice before committing a crime. During the program, the game publisher also confirmed the rerun banners of Kazuha, Klee, and Yoimiya.

• Kazuha's Story Quest

Players can also do Kazuha's story quest chain to earn tons of rewards. In the next update, more stories about Kazuha's clan will be unveiled. This character comes from a renowned swordsmith clan in Inazuma which is also a Raiden Gokaden.

Besides, Kazuha and Heizou are buds. They have a natural understanding as two Anemo characters. In addition, Kazuha also has helped Heizou in the past.

• Island-Vibe Events

In the second half of the teaser, Kazuha, Fischl, Xinyan, and Mona invite you to join them on their trip around Golden Apple Archipelago.

• Summertime Odyssey has a domain challenge event and a sailing game mode. You collect Iridescent Flotsam tokens from these fun mini-games to exchange rewards in the event shop.
• Reminiscent Regimen is a special co-op challenge event of the Island vibe with new interesting gameplay.
• Resonating Visions is another island-vibe event that has similar gameplay as last year's Golden Apple Archipelago in which you collect Echoing Conches.

You can also unlock a new outfit as a reward in this exploration event.

• New Character Skins

Fischl will have a new summer skin in the upcoming update which still follows the purple concept. Her new gown is called Ein Immernachtstraum. Players can get it for free in the Resonating Visions event.

Red Dead of Night is the new outfit of Diluc. It will be available to purchase from the Shop. Players can also play through the Hidden Strifer challenge event to understand the story behind this new outfit.

• Mechanical Game

Evermotion Mechanical Painting is an upcoming event about gears and components. Players will take components and place them in the proper position on the mechanical board. The furnishing: Evermotion Mechanical Painting is the premium reward from this event. Besides, you also earn a lot of Primogems for upcoming banners.

The furnishing reward will be used in the Serenitea Pot. Obviously, the developer team of Genshin Impact is trying to make the Teapot world more interesting with more additions after a long period of maintenance during version 2.6.

How To Earn Primogems In Version 2.8
