Free Fire's OB28 patch is coming out very soon, and despite the lack of an official changelog, some data miners have managed to release the whole thing. In this article, we are going to analyze the new character D-Bee in OB28, the new pet Dr.Beanie, and various new balance changes in this patch.

1 - New character D-Bee in OB28

D-Bee, a character first revealed in the Advance Server of OB28, is going to make his debut on June 8. The values of his skill are tweaked comparing to the Advance version, however - it is at a manageable level now. Below are the new values of D-Bee's ability "Bullet Beats":

This skill is a passive ability that increases the movement speed and accuracy of users when they fire while moving.

  • Movement speed increases by 5/7/9/11/13/15%
  • Accuracy increases by 10/13/17/22/28/35%.

The advance server has these two values at a ludicrous level of 75%, which pretty much makes all low-accuracy weapons deadly accurate. This passive would definitely be useful in shotgun builds and SMG builds, both of which require players to fire while moving.

The stronger shotguns with low accuracy like the MAG-7 and M1887 would definitely enjoy D-Bee's buff.

2 - New Pet Dr. Beanie in OB28

The new Pet, Dr. Beanie, remains the same as its Advance Server version. His ability is called Dashy Duckwalk - it increases the movement speed of users while crouching by 30/40/60%. Free Fire has been focusing a lot on the "alternate movement methods" as of late, with OB27's "machine gun mode" also triggered by crouching.

If you are going to use any LMGs, Dr. Beanie Pet is essential. The extra movement speed while crouched would let you engage enemies much easier.

Crouching is useful in all shooters and Free Fire is not an exception. It gives players a lower profile and renders them harder to hit by enemies. It also reduces your footsteps' sound.

3 - Free Fire OB28 patch notes: character skill rebalances

Similar to the massive balance changes in OB27, 3 characters have their skills changed in OB28.

Paloma's Arms Dealer

Her ability now can be applied to almost all types of ammo and not just AR (with the exception of the 40mm). Below are the values of the ability from level 1 to 6:

  • 45/60/75/90/105/120 Extra ammo will not take up inventory space

Clu's Tracing Steps

Tracing Steps now has a 50% bigger radius, slightly longer duration and cooldown. Enemies locations are now shared with teammates at all levels instead of 4 like before. Below are the new values of her skill:

  • Radius: 50/55/65/60/70/75 meters
  • Duration: 5/5.5/6/6.5/7/7.5 seconds
  • Cooldown: 75/72/69/66/63/60 seconds

Overall, this skill is much better now - with the crucial aspect of Radius and teammate data sharing being available much earlier.
