Who is the Raiden Shogun Boss?

According to the lore of Raiden Shogun, we know that the Electro Archon, Raiden Ei is actually inside the Plane of Euthymia. The Raiden Shogun in real life is actually just a puppet that follows a set of programmed rules and even Ei can hardly modify it.

In the trailer for the new boss, we can see Ei monologuing that someone is no longer letting herself do what she wants and a sense at the end where 2 Raiden Shoguns facing off each other. It is likely that someone has corrupted the inner world of Ei in the Plane of Euthymia and created a replica of the Raiden Shogun.

The new Raiden Shogun boss possesses a large health pool and an Electro shield (you will need an Electro character). Her moves include massive slashes that have a large AOE and range, dealing Electro damage.

She also has a special move that freezes time and instantly kills the active character, regardless of their stats. This move can only be avoided by the new mechanic. When she makes this move, there will be an electro orb in the arena. Hitting this orb with an electro ability will create a shield that protects players from being killed.
