Genshin Impact has 5 weapon classes, and amongst them, Claymore is probably the most damaging. However, not all Claymores are created equal - some are better than others. In this article, we are going to showcase the Genshin Impact claymore tier list in 2021 (ranked from best to worst).

While there are other claymores in the game, this list only showcases the top 10 Genshin Impact best claymores. Currently, there are 8 Genshin Impact claymore users: Beidou, Chongyun, Diluc, Eula, Noelle, Razor, Sayu and Xinyan.

Eula
Eula and the Song Of Broken Pines

1. Song of Broken Pines

  • Type: Main DPS / Support
  • Base ATK (Lv. 1 - 90): 49 - 741
  • 2nd Stat (Lv. 1 - 90): Physical DMG Bonus +4.5% - 20.7%

Increases ATK by 16 - 32% and gains a Sigil when Normal or Charged Attacks hit opponents. Consume 4 sigils to gain an ATK SPD + 12 - 24% and ATK + 20 - 40% (AOE buff) for 12s. CD 20s.

Song of Broken Pines
Song of Broken Pines can deal an absurd amount of physical damage.

Song of Broken Pines is the weapon with the highest raw attack in Genshin Impact claymore tier list. It maxes out at 741, a whopping 67 damage higher than the next strongest weapon. It boosts characters' physical damage massively while allowing them to attack even faster. The weapon's AOE buff is also useful in co-op.

Because of its heavy focus on physical damage, only characters using physical builds like Razor, Xinyan and Eula can use this weapon. Its 2nd stat boosts all physical damage and not just attacks.

2. Wolf's Gravestone

  • Type: Main DPS / Sub DPS / Support
  • Base ATK (Lv. 1 - 90): 46 - 608
  • 2nd Stat (Lv. 1 - 90): ATK +10.8% - 49.6%

Increases ATK by 20 - 40%. Gain a 40 - 80% ATK buff upon hitting enemies with less than 30% HP. The effect lasts for 12s with a 30s cooldown.

Genshin Beidou
Wolf's Gravestone is the most versatile weapon in Genshin Impact claymore tier list.

Overall, Wolf's Gravestone is just a stat stick, with all of its stats focusing on boosting ATK. However, because of that, it is also the most versatile claymore in the game. Players can't go wrong equipping this Claymore on all users.

The ATK buff on hitting enemies with 30% HP is pretty niche. People usually want to get damage right away instead of having to wait until the end of a fight.

3. Skyward Pride

  • Type: Main DPS
  • Base ATK (Lv. 1 - 90): 48 - 674
  • 2nd Stat (Lv. 1 - 90): Energy Recharge +8% - 36.8%

Skyward Pride

Skyward Pride has the second highest base damage amongst Claymores.

Unlike the top 2 that focus on physical damage, the Skyward Pride is a hybrid weapon, with its 2nd stat being Energy Recharge. With its skill affecting all damage types and the vacuum blades, this claymore is best for characters who use their whole kit for damage like Diluc, Razor, Yanfei, Noelle and Chongyun.

4. The Unforged

  • Type: Main DPS
  • Base ATK (Lv. 1 - 90): 46 - 608
  • 2nd Stat (Lv. 1 - 90): ATK +10.8% - 49.6%

Increases Shield Strength by 20%. Scoring hits on opponents increases ATK by 4% for 8s. Max 5 stacks. Can only occur once every 0.3s. While protected by a shield, this ATK increase effect is increased by 100%.

The Unforged
The Unforged can deal very impressive damage, however, you need shield uptime constantly.

The Unforged is part of the Zhongli-themed item set, with skill revolves around shielding and attack boost.

Overall, while powerful, this set is fairly limited as you need to constantly apply shields to yourself. This requires you to have a shielder like Zhongli in your team or use Claymore characters with shields like Noelle, Yanfei and Beidou.

5. Favonius Greatsword

6. Sacrificial Greatsword

  • Type: Support
  • Base ATK (Lv. 1 - 90): 44 - 565
  • 2nd Stat (Lv. 1 - 90): Energy Recharge +6.7% - 30.6%

After dealing damage to an opponent with an Elemental Skill, the skill has a 40 - 80% chance to end its own CD. Can only occur once every 30 - 16s.

Sacrificial Greatsword
The Sacrificial Greatsword allows you to spam your skill freely.

Similar to the Favonius, the Sacrificial Greatsword also focuses on the caster aspect of Genshin claymore users. Players would be able to refresh their elemental skill immediately to deal more damage.

However, it has a weaker sustaining presence, as its energy recharge is just half of Favonius.

7. Prototype Archaic

  • Type: Main DPS
  • Base ATK (Lv. 1 - 90): 44 - 565
  • 2nd Stat (Lv. 1 - 90): ATK +6% - 27.6%

On hit, Normal or Charged Attacks have a 50% chance to deal an additional 240 - 480% ATK DMG to opponents within a small AoE. CD 15s.

Prototype Archaic
The Prototype Archaic can deal decent AOE damage when upgraded.

Prototype Archaic is fairly vanilla with its 2nd bonus being ATK. The triggers on normal or charged attacks, therefore this weapon can be used on all characters who alternate between the two attack forms. Xinyan, Razor and Chongyun are the best candidates.

8. Snow-Tombed Starsilver

  • Type: Main DPS / Sub DPS
  • Base ATK (Lv. 1 - 90): 44 - 565
  • 2nd Stat (Lv. 1 - 90): Physical DMG Bonus +7.5% - 34.5%

Hitting an opponent with Normal and Charged Attacks has a 60 - 100% chance of forming and dropping an Everfrost Icicle above them, dealing 80 - 140% AoE ATK DMG. Opponents affected by Cryo are dealt 200 - 360% ATK DMG instead by the icicle. Can only occur once every 10s.

Snow-Tombed Starsilver
Snow-Tombed Starsilver is a weapon designed for Eula.

Overall, the Snow-Tombed Starsilver is perfect for Cryo Claymore users like Eula or Chongyun, as the icicle drop synergizes with their cryo abilities. You can always inflict Cryo by switching characters, but doing it automatically is still better.

9. Luxurious Sea-Lord

Type: Sub DPS

  • Base ATK (Lv. 1 - 90): 41 - 454
  • 2nd Stat (Lv. 1 - 90): ATK +12% - 55.1%

Increases Elemental Burst DMG by 12 - 24%. When Elemental Burst hits opponents, summon tuna onrushes that deal 100 - 200% ATK as AoE DMG. CD15s.

Luxurious Sea Lord is a pure sub DPS weapon, designed to be used with characters who have high damage bursts. Diluc, Xinyan and Eula can make use of this fish.

Luxurious Sea-Lord
Despite being a joke weapon, the Luxurious Sea-Lord is actually pretty high in Genshin Impact claymore tier list.

10. Lithic Blade

  • Type: Main DPS
  • Base ATK (Lv. 1 - 90): 42 - 510
  • 2nd Stat (Lv. 1 - 90): ATK +9% - 41.3%

For every character in the party who hails from Liyue, the character who equips this weapon gains 7 - 11% ATK increase and 3 - 7% CRIT Rate increase. This effect stacks up to 4 times.

This is a fairly unique blade that increases your offensive stats based on your party composition. Overall, the total stats gained from this weapon is top tier, as long as you can build a whole party around it. As you need 4 stacks, the Claymore user also needs to be Liyuean - therefore, only Chongyun, Xinyan and Beidou can use it.

Amongst weapons in the Genshin Impact claymore tier list, the Lithic Blade is the most unique.
