In The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, the Pilgrimage quest kicks off the Knights of the Nine DLC. You’ve got to hit up one Wayshrine for each of the Nine Divines across Cyrodiil to show you’re worthy and wipe your Infamy to zero.
These shrines are all over the place, and they don’t show up on your map, but you get a Wayshrines Map from the Prophet in Anvil to help out. Here’s the rundown on the Wayshrines you need to visit, with their locations and blessings.
Wayshrine of Akatosh
Blessing: +10 Speed and Magicka
-
Location: South of Bruma, just off the Orange Road, a bit southeast of Bruma Caverns. Fast-travel to Wildeye Stables, go south to the Orange Road, then west. Look for stairs on the north side of the road, right south of Bruma’s center; the shrine’s at the top.
-
Note: The map makes it look farther from the road than it is.
Wayshrine of Arkay
Blessing: +10 Health
-
Location: Southwest of Skingrad, southeast of Fat Ramp Camp, near the Kvatch road. Fast-travel to Skingrad’s West Gate, head southwest, and find the shrine in a clearing. It’s near the Zenithar shrine.
-
Note: Pretty easy to spot since it’s close to Skingrad.
Wayshrine of Dibella
Blessing: +10 Personality
-
Location: Just northeast of Anvil, straight north of Brina Cross Inn, a bit east of Bleak Mine. Fast-travel to Anvil, go north past the inn, and look for the shrine in a clearing.
-
Note: Good one to hit early since you’re already in Anvil.
Wayshrine of Julianos
Blessing: +10 Intelligence
-
Location: West of the Imperial City Waterfront, south of Fort Virtue, by Lake Rumare. Fast-travel to Weye, head west along the lake’s south shore, and find the shrine in some trees.
-
Note: Trickier to find since there aren’t many landmarks; stick to the lake.
Wayshrine of Kynareth
Blessing: +10 Agility
-
Location: Northeast of Cheydinhal, north of Fort Farragut, way out east in Cyrodiil. Fast-travel to Cheydinhal, go northeast over rough ground, and look for the shrine in a clearing. Or, from Bravil, cross Niben Bay and head east.
-
Note: This one’s far out, so it takes a while. A horse helps.
Wayshrine of Mara
Blessing: +10 Willpower
-
Location: East of Anvil, south of Garla Agea, northeast of Fort Strand. Fast-travel to Anvil, go east along the Gold Road, and find the shrine south of the road near Garla Agea.
-
Note: An Oblivion Gate might pop up here during the main quest, but you can still use the shrine’s remains if the gate’s closed.
Wayshrine of Stendarr
Blessing: +10 Strength
-
Location: Between Bravil and Leyawiin, right off the Green Road. Fast-travel to Bravil and go south, or Leyawiin and go north; the shrine’s west of the road, halfway between.
-
Note: Simple to find since it’s on a main road.
Wayshrine of Talos
Blessing: +10 Endurance
-
Location: South of the Imperial City, along the Upper Niben River, near Fort Alessia. Fast-travel to Imperial City, go south, cross the river west from the Julianos shrine, and find it in a small valley near the “I” in “Nibeny” on the map. Or, from the Talos shrine, go south past Veyond Cave (north of Bravil).
-
Note: Close to other shrines (Julianos, Zenithar) near the Imperial City.
Wayshrine of Zenithar
Blessing: +10 Luck
-
Location: Southwest of Kvatch, near the Arkay shrine, closer to Kvatch than the Wayshrines Map shows. Fast-travel to Kvatch, go northeast, or from the Talos shrine, ride south along the river past Veyond Cave and look southwest near Bravil.
-
Note: The map’s off; it’s way closer to Kvatch.
