1 . What kinds of games get banned from Twitch?
Twitch states in their policy that they banned games to be broadcasted based on 2 criteria:
- The official ESRB (Entertainment Software Rating Board) rate of the game is Adult Only. However, the alternate version of these games that has an ESRB rating of Mature or lower is permitted.
- The game violates the Community Guidelines of Twitch to hate speech, sex, nudity, gratuitous gore, or extreme violence.
Game reviews are made by collecting feedback from the community. If a game is found unrated on ESRB and there is no wholly-comparable rated title, the moderation team will be the one to decide if the game violates Twitch's Community Guidelines. The game might be banned if there is excessive adult/ violent content or things that violates Twitch's Community Guidelines. Twitch forbids content that involves nudity or is sexual in nature.
Streamers who stream banned games on Twitch can be reported by users and get a strike plus a temporary ban. You also cannot find these games in the game selector in the Dashboard of streamers.

Even if the streamer sets the mature content flag, sets the broadcast or VOD to one of these titles, a different title, these games will still be illegal and they will receive punishment accordingly from Twitch.
