Deadliest Catch: The Game is a simulator game. The game is currently being under development by Moonlit studio and will be published by Ultimate Games S.A. They have recently launched a Kickstarter crowdfunding campaign with a goal of raising $11,317 to further expand the game.
You might find the name of the game sound a bit familiar as this game is created on the license of the series Deadliest Catch on Discovery Channel since 2005. The developer wants to offer the most realistic experience of king crab catchers from the series to players with dynamic weather conditions system and realistic water physics.
You will have your own fishing boat with realistic equipment to fight against Alaskan waters and become the greatest crab catcher. But it won't be easy. It a fierce battle against time fishing quotas, crab migrations, and the sea.
You can find all the equipment you need such as the winch, the crane, the launcher, and the coiling system on board. No one is born already knowing how to use or of them, but you can learn and manage to become a captain and a fisherman.
However, you must follow the code of nature and only catch what you need. Release all baby craps, protected female craps and only keep male crabs.
Deadliest Catch: The Game is currently under development and will be available for Switch, PS4, Xbox One and PC (Steam) on November 14.
