Skybolt Zack, a fast-paced rhythm platformer game by DEVS MUST DIE studio, is going to be delayed for 2 weeks. It was originally planned for an October 24 launch, but the studio has announced to change the release date of the game to November 7.
As a mixture of platformers and color matching gameplay, Skybolt Zack control is simple. All you have to do is press the button that has the same color as the target that you want to destroy and keep advancing. However, the higher the level, the harder the game will be.
Key features:
- By mixing platformers and rhythm games mechanics, the studio has created a brand new type of genre where you only dash and destroy while controling your own rhythm.
- There is a total of 48 levels from the easiest ones to the hardest ones.
- Each level has multiple different routes for you to try out, each with a different level of difficulty.
- Apart from the story mode, the game also offers 2 other game modes called Time Attack and Score Attack.
- Up to 5 unique worlds that include more than 15 environments.
- An original soundtrack that takes the inspiration from old classic platformer games.
A demo for Skybolt Zack is now available for you to try out on Steam. If you play the demo, you will be able to obtain rewards that increase the discount on the game at release.
Skybolt Jack was first just a school project in 2016. The game has come a long way since then with huge changes, including the main character design, the suppression of the Focus Gauge and Grey Enemies that will attack you if you jump on them.
Skybolt Zack will be available for PC (Steam), Nintendo Switch for $19.99 on November 7, 2019.
