The game publisher Nintendo has announced a release trailer for its upcoming action game, Astral Chain. The game is only several-hour away from us, so the Nintendo wants to ramp up the hype a little bit.

Astral Chain is promised to be the next big hit from the developer Platinum Games. With the hands of Takahisa Taura, the game designer of NieR: Automata and Hideki Kamiya - the director of the Bayonetta, there are a lot of reasons to expect something huge from this title.

About Astral Chain

Humanity now has to face the threat of an interdimensional invasion, and Legions - a special living weapon - is the final chance against this danger. As a rookie in Neuron - an elite police task force, you need to work with your Legions to protect humankind from this extinction danger.

According to the developer, Astral Chain is a thrilling synergetic action game. In there, you will step in the shoes of the twin sibling Legionis rookies at the same time. Both of the two characters will participate in all tasks in the game, but you can only choose one of them to control. As a result, the remaining will be your partner throughout the whole journey.

You can perform your attacks in your way by alternating your current Legion with other ones.  Each Legion has its own unique types & skills, and they're also helpful when it comes to platforming.

Masakazu Katsura - a renowned manga artist with popular products like ZETMAN and Video Girl Ai is the designer of the characters in Astral Chain. The game is also the mark of the directorial debut of PlatinumGames - Takahisa Taura, the designer of NieR: Automata. Astral Chain is under the supervision of Hideki Kamiya - the director of the Bayonetta version and the writer cum supervisor of Bayonetta 2.

Main Features Of Astral Chain

- Players can take control of the protagonist & a special weapon named a Legion. At the same time, you will use both characters parallelly to build stylish combos.

- The apocalyptic setting in the game contains a lot of complicated details & engaging characters. They are citizens & suspects within the city whom you can communicate with, your twin sibling, and other people in the police task force.

- Explore the secrets of the Astral Plane - the alternative dimension, the origination place of the mysterious invaders.

- Takahisa Taura, who is well-known as the game designer of NieR: Automata is the director of Astral Chain. The game is under the supervision of Hideki Kamiya - the creator of the Bayonetta series. 

Astral Chain is scheduled to be out for Nintendo Switch on 30th August.
