SuperGaming has announced the "Clutch India Movement," a year-long esports plan. Kicking off with the Indus International Tournament, which has a prize pool of INR 2.5 crore, this is the largest prize fund for a Battle Royale game in India. The competition will run from October 2024 to February 2025.

This announcement comes after SuperGaming's recent update on the release of their eagerly awaited Indo-futuristic Battle Royale game, Indus. Indian players can download the game on the iOS App Store and Google Play Store on October 16, 2024.

Previously, the game developer has hosted competitions like "Grudge Wars," "Indus Inferno," and "Indus Unchained," giving aspiring esports players a chance to make their mark.

“The sports landscape is rapidly evolving, and we believe the country is ready to compete on the world stage. Through this tournament, we’re excited to elevate India’s presence in esports and inspire a new generation of players to pursue gaming at a professional level,” shared CEO & Co-Founder.

The Indus International Tournament will start with the ‘Homegrown’ phase, featuring a prize pool of INR 15 lakhs, with registration now open. Matches for this phase will take place from November 6th to December 3rd. After that, the ‘Nationals’ will follow, offering a prize pool of INR 10 lakhs.

The ‘Powerplay’ phase, aimed at professional esports teams, will have a prize pool of ₹25 lakhs. SuperGaming will also host the ‘International’ phase, which is for invited global teams, running from November 15 to December 30, 2024. This will lead to the Grand Finale, where the final 15 teams will vie for a prize pool of ₹2 crores.

The MVP of the Indus International Tournament will receive a brand-new Mahindra Thar.

SuperGaming's dedication to growing the Indian esports scene will be strengthened with the hosting of the Indus International Mahasangram in October 2025, another major event.

In addition to its own tournaments, SuperGaming has organized various community events to support rising talent. By offering Indus’ proprietary tools, the company aims to help third-party tournament organizers run events and tournaments as efficiently as SuperGaming does.
