Genshin Impact 2.6 Leaks: Character Banners, Chasm & New Ruin Serpent Boss

The first half of version 2.5 is nearly over. Genshin Impact players are anticipating the next version with the new boss, region, character banners, challenges, and in-game events. Check out some possible upcoming features in Genshin Impact 2.6 leaks here.

I. Genshin Impact 2.6 Chasm

The most anticipated content in Genshin Impact 2.6 is the new region Chasm. The new regions are leaked in the beta test of the game. Chasm is a new region in the west and southwest of Liyue. The aboveground part of this new region includes:

• A new Statue of the Seven;
• A new underground map;
• One new Domain;
• A new world quest;
• An old and five new Teleport Waypoints.

Chasm is on the left of Lingju Pass and Qingxu Pool in Liyue. You can also glide to Chasm from a high spot in cloud-level mountain peaks in the west of Liyue. Besides, there is a leaked underground area underneath Chasm.

This sub-area has fifteen teleport waypoints around the map. However, there is no Domain and Statue of Seven in this underground sub-area. The role of Genshin Impact Chasm is pretty similar to that of the Dragonspire in Mondstadt. Besides, the underground area is like Enkanomiya in Inazuma.

II. New Ruin Serpent Boss

Apart from the new unlocked region Chasm, Genshin Impact 2.6 leaks also reveal a new Ruin Serpent boss model. The new boss was also leaked in the beta test of the game. According to the leaked image, the new Ruin Serpent Boss is totally different from all existing Automaton enemy types in the game.

It looks like a weird machinery enemy made for engineering purposes of a lost nation. Like previous Ruin bosses, the new Ruin Serpent enemy can also shoot fireballs towards players nearby it. This machinery boss can also aim and lock the target to shoot accurately.

Its body is very nimble and flexible, so it can roll the big head around to beat your characters when they are in its AoE radius. Moreover, the four top vertebrae of this boss have sharp horns. It's very dangerous if these metal horns hit you.

III. Genshin Impact 2.6 Banner Leaks

One of the most awaited features in each Genshin Impact update is the character banner. The upcoming version may bring a new character to the game. Then, two old characters will also return in their Rerun banners in the second half of the update. Check them out below.

• Genshin Impact 2.6 characters

In the next version 2.6, Kamisato Ayato will come to the game. He is a 5-star Hydro character who uses the sword to fight. Ayato is the older brother of Lady Kamisato Ayaka from the famous Kamisato family in Inazuma.

Their family lives in the Kamisato Estate on Narukami Island. While Ayaka manages the family, Ayako takes the responsibility to serve the Yashiro Commission and maintain stability in the nation. But he is still the head of the Kamistato Clan.

• Rerun banners

Genshin Impact 2.6 Venti and Kazuha rerun banners also bring back two old characters. They may return to the game in the second half of the version when Ayato's wish event is over.

Venti is known as the current mortal vessel of the Anemo Archon Barbatos. Like Baal and Zhongli, Venti also uses a fake vision. But his power does not rely on the vision as he gets resonance from Celestia. Therefore, Venti is a very powerful and useful DPS character.

Kaedehara Kazuha is also a 5-star Anemo character in Inazuma. According to his story, Kazuha has two visions, one Anemo vision of him and one vision of his late friend Tomo. But after the Vision Decree ends, he left Tomo's vision in the place he fell down.

IV. Genshin Impact 2.6 Date

Genshin Impact 2.6 is expected to release in late March or early April. It will be available right after the final day of version 2.5. It may be ready to download or pre-download on the last day of March as Genshin Impact 2.5 is said to end on March 30th.

There will be 5 hours of maintenance as usual. During the maintenance period, players cannot log into the game. But you will get 60 Primogems per maintenance hour and 300 Primogems for downloading the new update. You can earn more Primogems from the Inazuma festival in Genshin Impact 2.6.
