In a news event that is sure to please a lot of Indian fans of the recently banned PUBG Mobile, PUBG Corporation, the South Korea-based studio responsible for the franchise and development of the mobile version along with Tencent Games, has announced that they will take over the publishing and distribution of PUBG Mobile in India.
What this means is the responsibility of developing and owning the game in India will soon no longer be associated with the Chinese gaming corporation Tencent, but the original company PUBG Corporation itself, which is in South Korea.
How PUBG Mobile Will Return to India Sooner Than You'd Expect
In a recent announcement from yesterday, PUBG Corp said that they have been closely following the development of the banning of PUBG Mobile and PUBG Mobile Lite in India. They recognize that the game in India has received an enormous amount of support thanks to the dedication and passion of the Indian PUBG community.
The most important part of the announcement has to do with PUBG Corp taking over the responsibilities of the game in India, where they will "no longer authorize the PUBG MOBILE franchise to Tencent Games in India" and that the company "will take on all publishing responsibilities within the country".

As PUBG Mobile is the mobile version of the regular PUBG franchise, which is owned and developed by PUBG Corp, it's likely that having the South Korean company take over from Tencent Games will soon help deal with the main reason for the ban. The reason being a Chinese gaming company has been in charge of the game in India.
Furthermore, PUBG Corp will continue to work with "the Indian government to find a solution that will allow gamers to once again drop into the battlegrounds while being fully compliant with Indian laws and regulations". This would also eliminate the official reason for banning PUBG Mobile, which has to do with data mining and network security.

The takeover would also not affect existing developments of the game prior to the ban. The company declares it is exploring "ways to provide its own PUBG experience for India in the near future," and it is "committed to doing so by sustaining a localized and healthy gameplay environment for its fans."
When it comes to the game's quality, it looks like nothing will fundamentally change as there would still be "regular content updates," while the company "is exploring different ways to engage its community in India through various region-based activities, including esports and community events."
In short, having the original PUBG Corporation come in and be in charge of PUBG Mobile and PUBG Mobile Lite in India will allow the most popular game in the country to return very soon. And if the game does come back to India very soon, it would also mean the newly promoted FAU-G would be in big trouble. And to be honest, it already is.
Sadly, some people have done foolish things after their favorite game was banned, causing untold regrets and miseries for others. Remember that patience is a virtue and you will be rewarded.
