The Albany Lurcher, also known as Lurcher Hearse, is a four-door hearse released in the first GTA Halloween Surprise update in 2015. Ever since then, the car has always been coming back to the game every Halloween season in GTA 5. This Halloween, the Albany Lurcher is coming back to GTA 5 as the Podium Car, giving all players the chance to get it basically for free.

1. Albany Lurcher GTA 5 design and performance
“Dismissed as 'over the top' for the 90s pro wrestling circuit, the Albany Lurcher was a car ahead of its time. Since then American society has moved on, and this forgotten gem has been taken to heart as the centerpiece of choice for funeral orgies across the nation."
What car is the Albany in GTA 5? It is basically the hearse version of the muscle car Buccaneer so it is still a muscle car. The real-life version of the Albany Lurcher GTA 5 is the 1967 Cadillac Funeral Coach called Kargoyle, designed by George Barris.
The car has most of the features of a standard Buccaneer with the split grille, stacked headlights, fenders, and chrome details at the bottom and around the windows. Meanwhile, the rear lights of the vehicle are similar to the Emperor.
The car features a unique rear compartment with a partially open coffin, containing a zombie mannequin looking out the rear window. Its eye can illuminate during the night.

The Albany Lurcher is built on the Buccaneer stock model but its performance is not the same at all. Because of the large addition in the rear, the car is heavier, thus reducing the acceleration of the car. The chunky body makes it harder to turn around corners and easier to spin out than other fast muscle cars in GTA 5.
However, the bigger mass also causes the top speed of the car to increase. The crash deformation of the Albany Lurcher is decent. Under the hood of the Albany Lurcher are a powerful V8 under the hood, a 5-speed gearbox, and an RWD layout, which power the rear wheels

3. GTA 5 Albany Lurcher location
Players can only buy the Albany Lurcher from Southern San Andreas Super Autos during the Halloween update for $650,000. Players who already own an Albany Lurcher can buy another one whenever they want.
Also, you can sell Albany Lurcher for $390,000 (60% original price) plus 60% of the update cost you made.
While this is not a car that is meant for GTA Online races, many people love to collect it. Also, the price of this Halloween-themed car isn't exactly that expensive.
In this Halloween update, the Albany Lurcher GTA 5 is also available in the Diamond Casino’s Lucky Wheel (October 29 - November 5). Players will get some chances to earn the Albany Lurcher by spinning every day in the Diamond Casino’s Lucky Wheel. There is 1 spin available each day. If you own a Penthouse, you get to spin for free. If you don't you need to pay $500, which is next to nothing.
You have a 5% chance to get the Podium car each spin and a total of 7 spins before the next Podium car shows up.
