Tips and Tricks to make money in GTA 5 Stock Market
1 - Lester Assassination Missions
These missions are probably the most fool-proof method to make money in the game. Before doing an assassination mission from Lester, you need to buy and sell specific stocks.
Similar to the real-life stock market, each trading day begins at 8 AM. If you advance time, make sure that you check out at 8 AM each day. To advance time quickly, just go to the save screen when at a bed then exit.

This is only effective if you already have a lot of money. The price of LCN stocks will refresh every 45 seconds - just use all your money to buy a stock, save the game and wait for it to refresh. If the price increases, sell... if it decreases, load the save.
3 - Augury Insurance
This is a car insurance company - its stock would go down if you destroy a lot of cars. Go around on a destruction spree then buy AuguryInsurance stock (AUG) for low. It would shot back later after your rampage is over.

4 - Radio Stock Tips
You should listen to talk-back radio stations. They often provide stock tips and investment based on them will always be accurate.
5 - Financier tips
This is a special hidden mission. You need to buy Tinkle (TNK) on the BAWSAQ. Switch to Michael and head to Hitch Lift 1 to find a guy on the side of the road. Pick him up and bring him to the airport - the guy would spill the beans about a particular stock along the way.
6 - List of Competing Companies
