Venti is rumored to make his comeback in the first half of Genshin Impact update 2.6 and every astute Anemo Archon fan cannot be more thrilled. By all rights, we shall also be looking forward to Kazuha and Klee in the same period.
Well, this time is nigh for Venti to prove his niche as a top-notch character. Here are all Venti materials and how you can farm to max him out.
Table of Contents
I - Venti Ascension Materials
The Anemo Archon, who is famous for his crowd control capabilities, is one of the best support characters that are usually used for Domains and Spiral Abyss. Maximizing his abilities will need the help of a 4-piece Viridiscent Venerer’s artifact set and a slew of ascension materials.
As Venti belongs to the Anemo class, he will need Vayuda Turquoise Gems for his ascension process. The materials needed to ascend Venti also require some stuff that you cannot get just everywhere in the open world:
- Vayuda Turquoise x 25 (Sliver x1, Fragment x9, Chunk x9, Gemstone x6)
- Hurricane Seed x 46
- Cecilia x 168
- Slime materials x 84 (Condensate x18, Secretion x18, Concentrate x36)
1. Vayuda Turquoise
Vayuda Turquoise series is simultaneously sought-after as one of Kazuha ascension materials.
You can farm these items by defeating Anemo Hypostasis, located in Mondtstadt. In detail, you can find this boss in the northern region of the Stormbearer Mountains.
Besides, you can also purchase Vayuda Turquoise in small sums from Mondstadt and Liyue souvenir shops.
2. Hurricane Seed
Hurricane Seed is one of the two Venti materials you can obtain from fighting the elite boss Anemo Hypostasis. The higher level this cube boss is at, the higher quality the drops from it come out.
3. Cecilia
Cecilia is a Mondstadt specialty that you can’t find in too many places. If you are looking for this, you should head to the Starsnatch Cliffs where 37 of these flowers are available.
Fortunately, Cecilia is also one of Venti ascension materials that can be purchased. Players may buy a stock of five Cecilia from Flora in Mondstadt or get them for once from NPCs near Starsnatch Cliff and the Mondstadt cathedral.
Cecilia can also be planted and farmed in Serenitea Pot.
4. Slime materials
Genshin Impact Slimes are scattered throughout the open world. You can easily find them while exploring. Slimes level 40+ will have higher chances to drop Slime Secretions.
Other than that, you can buy Slime Condensates from the Stardust Shop or begin a leyline that may spawn Slimes.
Note: You will need 420,000 Mora in total to ascend Venti to level 90, beside all the Venti materials above.
II - Venti Talent Materials
Apart from materials needed to ascend Venti, all Venti mains need to gather items for his talent upgrade too.
- Ballad scrolls x 186 (Teaching x9, Guide x63, Philosophy x114)
- Slime materials x 177 (Condensate x18, Secretion x66, Concentrate x93)
- Tails of Boreas x 18
- Crowns of Insight x 3
Focusing on ascension only is not enough to strengthen Venti. And below is where you can find all Venti talent materials.
1. Ballad scrolls
For those who have not known, Ballad talent books are obtainable from the Forsaken Rift domain in Mondstadt on Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday.
What Genshin characters use ballad, you may ask. A lot of Genshin Impact characters, beside Venti, such as Albedo, the Traveler, Fischl, Kaeya need Guides to Ballad as their talent materials.
2. Slime materials
Slimes are needed for many characters’ talent upgrades: Venti, Xiao, Zhongli, Itto, Lisa, and Xiangling. It’s never harmful to farm and stock up these materials considering the different units you may want to build.
3. Tails of Boreas
Players can earn this item after completing the weekly Wolf of the North challenge. Do note that you can only fight this boss once a week.
Besides, you can convert the other drops from the wolf into Tail of Boreas using the craft table and Dream Solvent.
4. Crowns of Insight
Crowns of Insight are very rare and you can only get them in a few locations. Three of them are rewards from leveling the sacred Sakura Tree in Inazuma and another one can be collected as you upgrade Dragonspine’s Frostbearing Tree using Crimson Agates.
Also, players may earn Crowns of Insight from special events. Just make sure you catch up with the newest events and their sometimes-generous rewards.
