Character level up material Genshin Impact difference depends on each character and their visions.

How to get character level up material in Genshin Impact

Each material has different ways of being obtained. For example, you need to defeat Childe in La Signora boss fight to get the elusive level-up materials for Albedo and Aloy. Materials like Slime Condensate and Treasure Hoarder’s Insignia are dropped after you have defeated Slimes of different elements and Treasure Hoarders.

Just roam around the open world, pick up items along the way and do commissions to achieve the common materials.

In the meantime, Genshin Impact talent Teaching Books have their own schedule to drop in the domains. To find these specific Teachings books, open the Adventurer's handbook and search for the item you need. Also, pay attention that domains rotate the loot tables on each day of the week. You may also find these items under the Bosses tab.

For players who have not reached Adventure Rank 40, it is better to spend your Resin on weapon ascension and talent material domains. You should avoid artifact domains as you will surely need every material in the higher levels. Although it may not sound right at first, your resources will dwindle at later levels. Moreover, from Adventure Rank 40 or World Rank 5, players cam farm 5-star artifacts from Genshin Impact domains.

How to level up characters in Genshin Impact

Now that the Genshin Impact character level up material chart is available, it is essential to know how you can get the characters’ ranks up.

1. Use Character EXP Materials

Although players can get EXP from defeating enemies, it is not as recommended as using character EXP materials as the former method offers a much small amount of EXP gained.

Leveling your characters with EXP Materials is the fastest way to get their level maxed out. Follow these steps to rank up:

  • Go to the Main Menu and open the Character Screen.
  • Select the Level Up button in the Attributes.
  • As a window pops up, choose the amount of EXP Material you want to use on your characters.

Take note that each Character EXP Material offers a different amount of EXP varying on its rarity.

The fastest way for Genshin Impact upgrade characters is to use EXP materials in the attributes.

2. Use Ascension

Once the character has reached the max level which varies from 20, 40, 60, to 80, players can rank their level cap up by ascending. Apart from having a required adventure rank, you also need to have all the necessary materials that are in need to ascend a character.
